Rich Palms Casino Review The new web-based casino was launched in 2020 and is quickly become very popular. The casino aims to provide players with a luxuriously safe gambling experience that players will remember for years to come. The casino site uses software from industry giants with high-level security measures. At Vegas Palms, the casino takes advantage of all the good parts of being in a large group of casinos; the VIP program is excellent, the customer service is 24/7 and in so many languages, and the Microgaming/Evolution combination for software is one of the best out there. Rich Palms Casino Review: Our Verdict You’ll find Rich Palms Casino welcomes players from all around the world, and it is especially a big hit in the US states of Nevada and Delaware. It’s easy to see why too, as it offers you a great choice of welcome packages, daily deals, and Rich Palms Club loyalty rewards.

When I think about Las Vegas, I picture the huge casinos, the long lines at buffest and the constant buzz in and around the casino floor. What I don’t think of are palm trees and the ocean. However, Vegas Palms Casino doesn’t seem to care what I think; they have decided to market a Vegas casino in the middle of a tropical location. No problem: as it turns out, I also like the colors of the beach and ocean so I can put this aside.

Now, let’s get to an honest review of this casino, and determine if the mirage they have designed for their website is just that or if it runs deeper.

About Vegas Palms Casino

The parent company that owns and operates the Vegas Palms Casino is Digimedia Ltd. This company swallowed up a couple of the well-known operators from the early days of the online gambling industry; this casino is part of over 10 sites that were owned by the Fortune Lounge group, and you can still see many of their elements in today’s offering.

Vegas Palms was launched way back in 2001 when there just weren’t that many casinos to compete with. The company is proud to let you know it is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority; there is a whole page on their website dedicated to their Licensing and Regulation. That is a sign of a casino that wants to show you how trustworthy they are; your money will be safe here.

Who Can Play at Vegas Palms Casino?

While the licensing and regulation ensure your deposits are safe and the games are set up fairly, it also restricts who can actually play these real money games. These days, this is something you have to check every time you hit a casino website; the information isn’t readily available, which is why we take care of all that for you.

If you live in one of these countries, you are not allowed to open a real money account at Vegas Palms Casino:

  • Afghanistan
  • Australia
  • Bulgaria
  • Curaçao
  • China
  • Cuba
  • Cyprus
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • France
  • Hong Kong
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Israel
  • Macau
  • Philippines
  • Syria
  • Turkey
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

Software Suppliers

When you have as many casinos on the roster as Digimedia does, it is easy to spread the wealth around to many different software vendors. No so in this case, however, as the group’s casinos, including Vegas Palms, work on Microgaming’s platform. The decision to work with them is easy: first off, they were one of the only providers available in 2001 when this site launched. As a result, the Fortune Lounge folks are one of the longest-standing licensees of Microgaming. They probably get preferential treatment for their loyalty (at least I hope they do!).

The casino also offers Live Dealer games from a different developer. They come to you from Evolution Gaming, a company who focuses on this delivery method of casino games. They have burst onto the scene in the last few years and now have dozens of top name clients for their product.

The Microgaming casino games are available via Instant Play and download; you should download the casino to your desktop if you want to access the full complement of games. The Evolution games are browser-based, but accessible from a PC or a mobile device.

The Good Stuff

They speak your language

I know that for many of my European friends, a common complaint is finding an online casino that caters to them in their own language, rather than just in English. Vegas Palms not only translates their site into multiple languages, but their support team has an international flair to it. Look at all the languages they support:

  • Chinese
  • Croatian
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • English
  • Finnish
  • French
  • German
  • Greek
  • Hungarian
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Latvian
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Portuguese (Brazilian)
  • Russian
  • Slovak
  • Spanish
  • Swedish

VIP Trips

If you are lucky enough to reach the highest levels of VIP status in this casino, you should expect to be treated very well. This includes being whisked away to exclusive parties. In the past, the Fortune Group has taken players on an African Safari, to an F1 Race, to a Champions League Final, and several other top-rated locations. This alone should be enough motivation to get you to spend quality time with Vegas Palms.

The Bad Stuff

Bonus Delays?

Reading through the Terms and Conditions, I came across something that made me stop dead in my tracks:

Bonuses will be allocated within 20 minutes of your deposit being made.

Within 20 minutes? Please don’t tell me these are being processed manually. That would be unacceptable in today’s world. I am not sure why the delay, but I can tell you that after I make a deposit, the last thing I want to do is stop for a coffee before I sit down and play.

Withdrawal Times

The site does give you many options for withdrawing your money, and they are upfront about all the information you need to provide to verify yourself. However they say there is a pending period for withdrawals that has a 24-hour minimum, but no listed maximum amount of time. This is far too vague for me; I have no problem if it takes three days to get out of the pending period as long as I am given that information up front. If you have to sit in limbo and wait out the pending period with no idea when it could end, that could cause you far too much anxiety.

Game Selection

Slots

With over 450 different slot machines to choose from in the download client (there are about 350 to play via your browser), it seems silly not to start with the slots catalog in our review. Microgaming has won many awards over the years for their slots design; the robust engine allows for as many pay lines as you can imagine. Their addition of many licensed brands to the already strong offering of in-house titles means you are unlikely to click on this tab in the lobby and say “I can’t find anything I like.”

Video Poker

I want to tell you something about video poker: it is simply awesome. Think of video poker as a hybrid between a slot machine and sitting at a poker table. You can get the same rush of drawing to a straight flush but in a much faster atmosphere. I also love all the wild card games; while the payouts are spread out a little more, there is a good chance to at least break even with each deal.

Here are the video poker variants available at Vegas Palms:

  • All Aces
  • Jacks or Better
  • All American
  • Aces & Faces
  • Double Bonus
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Tens or Better
  • Aces & Eights
  • Deuces & Joker
  • Double Double Bonus
  • Joker Poker (kings or better)
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe
  • Double Joker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Louisiana Double

Table Games

Microgaming has received a lot of praise over the years for their Table Games platform. The games are quick, the graphics are solid, and they offer a lot of variants of games, including several different Blackjack games. You may not have realized how many slight rule changes there are in Blackjack; you should check out the rules of each game before you sit down, so you aren’t caught off guard.

Here are all the Table Games at Vegas Palms:

  • 3 Card Poker
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Gold Blackjack
  • Bonus Blackjack
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Crown and Anchor
  • Cyberstud Poker
  • Double Exposure
  • European Blackjack Redeal
  • European Gold Blackjack
  • Hi-Lo 13 European Blackjack
  • Keno
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Premier High Streak Blackjack
  • Poker Pursuit
  • Red Dog
  • Roulette
  • Sic Bo
  • Spanish Blackjack
  • Vegas Downtown Blackjack
  • Vegas single deck Blackjack
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack

Live Dealer Games

The Evolution Gaming offering is really the best out there for Live Dealer games. Starting with the quality of the studio they have built, to the friendly nature (and looks) of the dealers themselves, there isn’t much to be upset about with these games. Take note that the games are designed to give the illusion of playing in a land-based casino, so the gameplay is a little slower; personally, I like the idea of not racing through a hand of Blackjack in 2 seconds.

Here are the Live Dealer Games you can choose from:

  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Dream Catcher
  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Casino Hold’em

Specialty Games

If you like games that are not the traditional casino variety, then you are in luck at Vegas Palms. With 33 “Casual Games” and another 20 scratch cards, you have your fill of these games that are more fun-oriented than the standard Table games or Slots. Here is the list of Specialty Games you can find in the casino lobby:

Promotions

Digimedia has done a good job of differentiating their casinos with their Welcome Bonus; their ongoing promotions leave a little to be desired. I will review a couple here for you, so you know what you are walking into.

Welcome Bonus

The site touts a 3 Part Welcome Offer for you to take advantage of; this is a good move as it motivates you to make multiple, small deposits. Here is the Vegas Palms Welcome Offer:

  • 200% Bonus to $100 +150 Free Spins
  • 1st Deposit: 200% Bonus + 50 Free Spins
  • 2nd Deposit: 50 Free Spins
  • 3rd Deposit: 50 Free Spins

Palms Casino Resort Reviews

Now, this is a much smaller amount than many of the other Fortune Lounge casinos, but this is by design. They are marketing this casino to a much more minor player, so they don’t want to scare that person by asking for a massive first deposit. Having only Free Spins as the bonus for the 2nd and 3rd deposits is a clear sign that they are trying to attract slots players; those bonuses don’t help anyone else. It’s a shrewd marketing ploy by the casino; all money is potential revenue, even if it comes from penny slots players.

Ongoing Promotions

There is a list of past promotions on the website which allows you to see what the company has run in the past; currently, there is only one live promo, which is a network promotion across the Fortune Lounge group of casinos. It is a good generic offer: play games to win spins of a wheel to try to win some prizes. Here are all the details:

Wild Wins Wheel II

  • Play your favorite games to earn Rewards points
  • Your Rewards points will fill up the progress bar
  • Each time you reach 100%, you’ll get a spin on the jungle wheel
  • Prizes on the wheel include Free Spins, Rewards points and a Bonus Round for even bigger prizes!
  • You can try and spin the jungle wheel as many times as possible to win your share of €300,000 in instant prizes

Banking

Payment processing in the online gambling world has always been a thorn in the side of operators. Thankfully, Digimedia has been in business long enough that they have relationships with a large number of providers, meaning that you are likely going to find several different methods available in your country. The easiest way to see the list is to head to the cashier, and you will be presented with all your specific options.

Comp Program

I keep repeating this to any players I speak to; you need to take comps into consideration when calculating your ROI at a casino. These loyalty points, which are accumulated in the background, can add up to real cash being put back into your account. At Vegas Palms, they have the same loyalty rules as many of their sister sites; the earning rates for points are as follows:

Game typeBet sizePoint allocation
Slot games and unique games1 credit1 point
Table games (not mentioned below)5 credits1 point
Sic bo and all roulette10 credits1 point
Video poker games, craps, baccarat and all the blackjack games except Classic Blackjack20 credits1 point
Classic Blackjack and All Aces Video Poker100 credits1 point

Once you have reached 5,000 points, you can redeem them at a rate of $1 for every 1,000 points. Also, it is important to note that this is actual cash in your account with no wagering requirement at all. Points do, however, have an expiry date, so you need to keep an eye on them in your account to make sure you get the full value.

VIP Program

If you are going to put more of a focus on loyalty than on individual short-term offers, then the program you offer had better be comprehensive. Vegas Palms checks this box off with a two-pronged VIP Program. It starts with an enhanced loyalty program, giving players the chance to earn more points and bonuses by offering a tiered loyalty system. The details of these tiers can be found right here:

If that isn’t enough for you, then wait until you read up on the Fortune Lounge VIP program. This program, which is offered to all the players from their group of casinos, extends the VIP lifestyle into special bonuses and promotions; if you work your way up to the highest level of the program, the Group offers you the chance to join them on one of their legendary VIP trips. Take it from me, you definitely want to find out what you need to do to qualify for one of these exclusive events!

Customer Service

Even though this casino has been around since the beginning of the online casino industry, that hasn’t stopped them from adding modern forms of communication to be able to assist their players in the best way possible.

One way you can find out about new promotions and also contact the casino is via their Facebook page. These days, companies are using their social media presence as a way to offer front-line support on their terms, rather than finding out about complaints on forums and other sites.

While you do have the option of emailing the casino, I would suggest one of the following real-time ways to have your question answered:

  • Skype
  • WhatsApp
  • Telephone
  • Live Chat

Would I Play at Vegas Palms Casino?

I have said this about all the Fortune Group casinos that I have reviewed: you can’t really go wrong playing here for real money. At Vegas Palms, the casino takes advantage of all the good parts of being in a large group of casinos; the VIP program is excellent, the customer service is 24/7 and in so many languages, and the Microgaming/Evolution combination for software is one of the best out there.

If you are thinking of playing at this casino, bear in mind that the bonuses are small so you won’t get too much value out of them. Aside from that, you will have an enjoyable gaming experience, and I highly recommend this casino to any of my readers.
